Rally America Win with Spiider!

We are so excited and proud of this win by Rocky Mountain in the Rally America!

What happens when you tell your team to “just finish the race”? They win their class and claim 2nd in the 2016 Rally America National Limited Open class championship. That is what Adam Short and Danny Norkus did at the 2016 Lake Superior Performance Rally (LSPR). Congratulations on a great rookie season! Many thanks to Pirelli Motorsport, Winmax USA, DCCDPro.com, Cusco USA, Method Race Wheels, Seibon Carbon, Alpinestars, Custom Cages, Enkei and Subaru of Loveland. Special thanks to O.D.D. Racing for their tremendous support.

Magic of adaptive algorithms!

Here is a nice email we received from Recce Rally Team that makes us proud of the most advanced adaptive technology we provide:

“The car is still running your DCCD controller (referring to Spiider controller), and traction seems to be improving after each test. I am still very satisfied with the product. The algorithms seems to take nicely to the new faster average speed of the car, too.”

Here’s a video of the recent test::

Adaptive algorithm under the hood

Our Universal Controllers are programmed with an advanced firmware that is adaptive. If you change the knob setting in adaptive mode more than 5%, the adaptive algorithm kicks in. Now you might ask, what does that do? The answer is, it starts looking at your driving behavior and how fast the inputs are changing and finds an optimum point to your driving behavior to smooth the system response rather than overshoot or undershoot in it’s response.  Just another unique innovation in our products for a truly hands-free experience.

First place for our sponsored team!

Deft Motion Rally Team, congratulations for first place in your class at temple canyon hill climb in canon city!
Here is a note from Dan regarding Universal Controller:
Hey Jeff,
Got the car tuned and headed to the temple canyon hill climb in canon city over the weekend! We lead all day Saturday and then got rained out on Sunday. Still waiting for the official results but we placed first based off of Saturdays times! The new diff controller worked great! Here’s a pic of us coming up through the canyon!
